Red Giant Oil, a Council Bluffs, Iowa, based company, is the largest independent manufacturer of railroad oil in North America. They supply oil and lubricant products to major railroads throughout the United States, including Burlington-Northern Santa Fe Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad. They marked their 100 Year Anniversary by upgrading the Council Bluffs headquarters to provide a 21st Century image and upgrade building functions to accommodate better electronic communications. The project consisted of a complete reorganization of 3,750 square feet of office space, construction of a mezzanine for sales offices and warehouse office space, adding a conference room with skype capabilities, and a complete exterior image change. The project recently received a "City Beautification Award" as given by the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce.
