The existing bank building was constructed in about 1911 and has a magnificent, classical architectural façade constructed of terra cotta. The existing building to the east of the current bank was demolished and we designed an addition to be architecturally compatible with the existing bank façade. The banking operations are now located in the new addition and the associated insurance company is located in the former bank space. The owner was committed to saving the existing classical façade, as it is a landmark in the town of St. Edward. The building addition consists of 3,500 square feet and the remodeled building consists of 1,600 sq. ft. for a total 5,100 sq ft. A drive-up addition was being added to the back of the building and is served by a remote teller system.
