Jackson - Jackson & Associates, Inc., collaborated with the academic community at Wayne State College for the re-visioning of the existing US Conn Library for a four phase, $16 million construction project as part of an Integrated Design Process. Our firm our consultants and Wayne State College began this project in January 2012 with several visioning sessions, where all stakeholders were invited to share their individual and collective aspirations for the future of the library. A Vision Statement was developed, which guided the planning process, as we implemented the strategies envisioned from the programming through the construction documents phases. The project has been grounded in the following three fundamental aspirations set forth by the steering committee: (1) Renovation; (2) Impact on Student Learning; and (3) Iconic Image. The project is currently under construction.
