Wayne State College
Brandenburg Education Building

Project Location: Wayne, Nebraska

Completion Date: February 2012

Cost: $203,980

We completed two projects on this building, exterior restoration and a restroom remodeling. The exterior restoration project included masonry tuckpointing, brick replacement, painting, sealant replacement around the windows, patching and repair, and masonry cleaning. The restoration project was followed by an upgrade of a set of restrooms on the second level to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accessibility Guidelines. We are currently completing a study on the possible cause of cracks in the ornamental plaster at the proscenium arches of the Ley Theater. This project includes an analysis of the structural system at the proscenium opening and repair recommendations.
