Delzell Hall on the Peru State College was built in 1939. It has a concrete tee structure with clay tile/plaster interior walls and brick exterior walls. PSC is adding an elevator and lobby on the North elevation. The existing building is about 50,800 s.f. and will be fully renovated. Major renovation items include a complete remodel of the restroom/shower rooms, new windows, new mechanical system and all new electrical. The new mechanical system will incorporate a geothermal well field with four pipe fan coil units. The electrical system will be updated and more power will be provided to accommodate current informational technology requirements. Dorm rooms in the existing facility will be refinished, including new sinks, closets, flooring, paint and furnishings. The exterior wall will be furred out and insulated to comply with the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).

This is the first renovation for Delzell Hall since it was built 77 years ago. Peru State College looks forward to providing their students with an updated modern facility, which will be an asset to their campus.
