St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhorn, NE, began the planning of a new School that would serve students from pre-school through Junior High 8th grade level. The needs of the parish community had outgrown the existing primary school facilities adjacent to the existing established church. The process involved developing a five-phase master plan for the new school and parish support facilities, which included a new gymnasium and a central office suite to be used by both school administration and the parish. The first three phases have been completed, which include three section classrooms for the Pre-school students through sixth grade students, and ten junior high classrooms. Key features of the existing building include the Library/Media Center in the center of the building, including a computer classroom and state of the art science lab. Phase IV recently completed was the construction of the Activity Center Addition, including the gym, stage, full service kitchen and cafeteria.
