B-D Construction of Columbus, NE, served as the general contractor for the construction of the new 45,000 sq. ft. Headquarters Building for Butler Public Power District in David City, NE. designed by our firm. The new building was designed to be highly energy efficient with the use of a ground-loop heat pump system to provide highly efficient operation and to blend into the local surrounding residential community with the use of low slope roofs. New technology roof mounted devices were used to introduce natural lighting into the truck storage garage. The building consist of general offices, lineman support spaces, a truck parking garage and warehouse.
