The award winning television station was designed to include a management suite, business support services, news room, editing rooms, and two major studios with control rooms. Noise control was a key design feature. The studios were acoustically designed to eliminate any airplane fly-over noise, since the building was at the beginning of the glide path to Offut Air Force base. The site was selected for its high location, allowing for excellent communication from remote towers and mobile news units. A weather radar tower was incorporated in the design of the building.
